Mansard renovation — insulation & floor build-up
A mansard attic fully renovated and insulated: from roof and floor insulation to a clean finish with underfloor heating and warm detailing.
The mansard attic was fully renovated and made suitable for comfortable daily use. The space was insulated, rebuilt and refined with attention to detail and durability.
Work carried out
- Floor insulatedThe floor was fitted with 200 mm insulation wool for optimal thermal performance.
- Roof structure insulatedThe sloping roof sections were insulated with PIR boards in two layers (100 mm + 50 mm) for a high insulation value.
- Internal frame installedA Knauf metal frame was installed as the base for the wall and ceiling finishes.
- Walls and ceiling finishedThe structure was finished in plasterboard, given a decorative finish and painted twice for a crisp result.
- Decorative beams fittedTwo new decorative ceiling beams give the room a warmer feel.
- Underfloor heating and floor finishElectric underfloor heating was installed, after which the floor was finished in laminate for comfort and durability.
A completely renewed and well-insulated mansard, ready for daily use thanks to high-grade insulation and warm detailing.
